Ada Lovelace Day, Leiden
Ada Lovelace Day is celebrated on the second Tuesday of every October to recognize the achievements of women in STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics). In Snellius building together with LIACS and MI, we celebrate Ada Lovelace Day yearly as well. We make use of this special occasion to welcome our newest female students and staffs in LIACS and MI. We invite two guest speakers from LIACS and MI. The speakers tell stories about themselves, what brought them here and how they overcame all the obstacles in pursuing their career.
