Finding Ada Online Recruitment Fairs for Women in STEM

Where smart STEM women meet smart STEM companies

If you’re an employer or recruitment agency looking to attract new and diverse talent, a woman in STEM in the UK looking for your first job or for a new job, a university looking to help your graduates find great jobs, or a learned or professional society focused on outreach then the Finding Ada Online Recruitment Fairs for Women in STEM are for you!

Our first event was an all-day event on Thursday, 1 February 2018, which brought together employers and female job hunters from across the UK via a flexible online platform that’s easy and simple to use. It was a unique opportunity for employers and candidates to talk about jobs and careers in private one-on-one video, audio or text conversations. Booths were open to employers from across the STEM spectrum, from start-ups to global multinationals.

The Finding Ada Online Recruitment Fair for Women in STEM was proudly sponsored by Xero, the online accounting service for small businesses.

For job hunters

Our fairs are free for candidates and, depending on the fair, are open to women from final year undergraduates, to recent graduates, masters or doctoral students, early career jobs hunters and STEM returners. If you are a job hunter, find out more about how the fair works!

For employers, recruiters and learned/professional societies

Diversity is increasingly important to employers and societies, especially those in the STEM fields where women are often under-represented. Our fairs are an unparalleled opportunity to reach a wide variety of women, and to learn more about how to modify recruitment materials to attract more diverse candidates. Find out more, or to discuss our next fair, please email suw@findingada.com

For universities and colleges

Our fair is a simple, free way for universities and colleges to support their students and alumnae in finding a job, and to improve employability figures. We will provide promotional materials to make it as easy as possible for careers and faculty staff to engage students. If you want to find out more and join our ever-expanding list of participating universities and colleges, please email suw@findingada.com.
