University of Reading Ada Lovelace Day Lecture

Julie Hawkins, Professor of Plant Systemics and Evolution from the School of Biological Sciences, University of Reading, will talk about both her career in science (and women in science more generally) as well as her fascinating research- ‘The cultural evolution of medicinal plant use.’  The lecture will be followed by a celebratory coffee and cake reception.
