Join us at Fyne Court for a talk from historian Dr David Taylor with a drinks and nibbles reception.
Ada Lovelace was a mathematician and writer, well-known for her work on the early mechanical computer.

In this talk Taylor will bring Ada Lovelace to life. He will discuss her life, loves, connection to Fyne Court and the Crosse family who resided there.

David Taylor is an historian from Surrey who has written many books on the local history of Cobham, Surrey as well as wider history. For many years, he has been researching and lecturing on various aspects of the Lushington family. Ada Lovelace was closely associated with the Lushington’s throughout her remarkable life.
