OpenLab EC: Ada Lovelace Day 2022 Guayaquil

Ada Lovelace Day es una celebración internacional que se realiza anualmente para homenajear a las mujeres que han hecho de la programación una profesión, y que al mismo tiempo desde una visión humanitaria y artística de la tecnología, reflexionan sobre los grandes retos globales que vivimos hoy en día.
La historia de Ada no solo se refiere a la historia de las mujeres en la ciencia, sino también a las luchas por la diversidad, la libertad de expresión y la igualdad.
No hay que olvidar también que Ada es considerada como la madre de la programación moderna, donde la “computación creativa”, busca juntar mundos que parecen muy distintos, la matemática y el arte. Ada buscaba utilizar la tecnología para construir mundos más humanos y creativos.
Este año, celebramos el día de Ada el martes 11 de octubre en dos sedes en las ciudades de Quito y Guayaquil.
