Mary Williams Group Seminar

FreeMary Williams was the first female professor to be appointed to a Chair in the UK in 1921. Here at Swansea Univeristy (where she gained her Chair) we celebrate her acheivements by providing regular seminars to highlight the excellent work our current female professors and other female academics do. This year we will be celebrating Ada Lovelace by hearing from Miss Farah Bhatti (Consultant Cardiologist), Dr Minas Nerpal (the only female professor of Egyptology in the UK) and Wendy Goodridge, Curator of our Egypt Centre.
