In celebration of Ada Lovelace Day, the First Meeting of Women in Technology at the Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology of Acre, Amazon, Brazil, aims to celebrate women´s achievements in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics in the Western Amazon region. In the academic field, the meeting aims to stimulate enrollment and value the female presence in Career, Technical and Undergraduation Programs in the areas of Science and Technology offered at the Federal Institute.
