Edinburgh Napier University Ada Lovelace Day celebrations at Craiglockhart

Public lecture hosted by the University and Equate Scotland, delivered by Professor Caroline Wilkinson, 6pm followed by drinks reception – open to all
The main event is a free public lecture delivered by Professor Caroline Wilkinson at 6pm on Tuesday 11th October at Napier’s Craiglockhart campus. This is followed by a drinks reception.

Workshops hosted by the School of Computing, 4pm followed by refreshments (and the public lecture) – open to female school pupils (S1-S3) and their teachers
Earlier in the day from 4pm onwards the School of Computing is running workshops at Craiglockhart for female school pupils (S1-S3) and their teachers. Two workshops will be run in parallel: (1) Finger prints: a forensics investigation and (2) Hands on with Arduino. Immediately after the workshops there will be refreshments for the participants. They will also be welcome to stay on for the public lecture.
