Celebration of Ada Lovelace Day

Ada Lovelace Day, is an international celebration of the achievements of women in STEM, and something that is particularly celebrated at the Computational Foundry.
This year, we invite everyone in the School of Mathematics and Computer Science and Engineering to join us to celebrate this day.
At a small social event, we will watch a documentary about Ada Lovelace and will have an informal discussion afterward to find out how she fused the arts and science together in ‘poetical science’.
