Ada, the National College for Digital Skills, is a centre of excellence for teaching advanced digital skills to develop a future-skilled workforce from diverse backgrounds.
Ada Lovelace Day is an international celebration day of the achievements of women in STEM. It aims to increase the profile of women in STEM and, in doing so, create new role models who will encourage more girls into STEM careers and support women already working in STEM.
To celebrate, Ada is hosting a speed networking event with female tech professionals who have carved their way to success in a predominately male sector. They will be imparting their experiences and pearls of wisdom to our attendees in the hope of inspiring the future generation of digital pioneers.
The speed networking session will form part of a programme of events to celebrate Ada Lovelace Week including an evening reception following the Speed Networking event, as well as a Wikipedia Editathon on the 9th October in partnership with Wikipedia Women In Red and The Zebra Partnership.
Please arrive promptly at 15:45 for a 16:00 start.
