Ada Lovelace Day with Girls in Tech Armenia

Hi everyone,
We’re so excited to be able to celebrate Ada Lovelace day in Yerevan. It is is held every year on the second Tuesday of October and this time it’s 9 October. We’re sure we’re going to meet all the tech and non-tech people interested in the tribute to this phenomenal women, the first computer programmer ever.
Ada Lovelace Day is an international celebration of the achievements of women in STEM – science, technology, engineering and maths. It aims to increase the profile of women in STEM and, in doing so, create new role models who will encourage more girls into STEM careers and support women already working in STEM.
The event is open for both men and women and below is a quick look on what we suggest in the agenda:
– a short film about Ada Lovelace,
– presentation and discussion about her role in STEM,
– maths interaction through a networking game.
The entrance is via RSVP though this link – http://bit.ly/2xXjRI2, and there will be an entrance fee of 1000AMD at the entrance which will help us organize a coffee break. We’re happy to host the event at our new premises in Mergelyan Cluster. But as the space is limited, prior registration is required.
Language of the event will be English.
