Ada Lovelace Day (ALD) é uma celebração internacional das conquistas de mulheres na ciência, tecnologia, engenharia e matemática. A data tem como objetivo dar visibilidade às mulheres nessas áreas e, consequentemente, encorajar mais meninas nas ciências e dar suporte às mulheres que já estão no mercado de trabalho.
Neste ano, no Departamento de Computação da UFSCar, ocorrerá uma mesa redonda sobre mulheres no mercado de trabalho e na academia, abordando assuntos desde como chegar lá, até como permanecer e as adversidades, machismo, oportunidades, ideias que surgem durante o caminho.
