Ada Lovelace Day Live! 2019

£20Ada Lovelace Day is an annual celebration of the achievements of women in science, technology, engineering and maths.
Ada Lovelace Day Live! is our flagship ‘science cabaret’ event which this year will be held at The IET on the evening of Tuesday 8 October. Playing host to the UK’s most fabulous women in STEM, ALD Live! is an entertaining evening of geekery suitable for everyone over the age of 12. Konnie Huq, who was Blue Peter’s longest running female presenter, will be on hand to sign copies of her new children’s book, Cookie and the Most Annoying Boy in the World. This is a great opportunity to get some personalised Christmas presents bought early, particularly for daughters and granddaughters!
We will once again have the fabulous Vivian Archer from Newham Books on hand to sell you the very best science books by or about women. The book stall will be available from 6:30pm until the performance starts at about 7:30pm.
Lobby doors open at 6.30pm for the book stall, book signing and cash bar. Auditorium doors open at about 7.00pm. The performance will begin at 7.30pm and will run until approximately 9.30pm.

Ticket prices are:

- On the door: £25, available until just before the performance starts at 7.30pm
