Ada Lovelace Day – Il Diritto Di Contare

L’Ada Lovelace day è un evento internazionale dedicato alle scienziate e ai loro risultati in ambito scientifico, tecnico, ingegneristico e matematico. L’evento è nato in Inghilterra nel 2009 e ha lo scopo di incoraggiare le ragazze a intraprendere gli studi STEM (Scienze, Tecnologie, Ingegneria, Matematica). Ada Lovelace è stata una matematica inglese considerata oggi la prima programmatrice informatica. Per il primo anno la Casa delle donne dedica appuntamenti per bambini e bambine, ragazzi e ragazze, insegnanti e adulti per lasciarci affascinare dalle materie scientifiche!
GIOVEDI 18 OTTOBRE ore 20,30 – Casa delle donne di Ravenna proiezione de IL DIRITTO DI CONTARE, film di Theodore Melfi. Il film sfoglia una pagina sconosciuta della storia della NASA: il contributo delle scienziate afroamericane alla conquista dello spazio.
