Ada Lovelace Day at the Heinz Nixdorf MuseumsForum

On 13th October the Heinz Nixdorf MuseumsForum, the world’s biggest computer museum in Paderborn, celebrates the Ada Lovelace Day with a special program.

The admission for our running special exhibition “IT began with Ada” (2 September 2015-10 July 2016) is free on this day and the special exhibition is opened till 7 pm. In addition there more special programs offered during the whole day:

  • Free guided tours through the special exhibition “IT began with Ada” at 11 am and 3 pm
  • Robot-Workshop: 12-15 years, fee: 18 euros, from 10 am to 4 pm
  • Workshop for girls only, on computer science: from the age of 14 up, fee: 6 euros, 10 am-12 pm , 12.30 pm-14.30 pm, 3 pm-5 pm
  • Lecture „Ada Lovelace and Mary Somerville. Women in mathematics and natural sciences”, Annette Pohlke, 7 pm, free of charge
