Ada Lovelace Day at Nationwide Building Society – Swindon
13 October 2015
Over 100 local year 9 female students will come to Nationwide Head Office in Swindon where they will spend the day with some inspirational female role models who work at Nationwide. They will find out about the career paths taken by our female role models and understand more about how STEM subjects are relevant in the financial services sector.
They will visit our Innovation Lab and also learn how to use an algorithm to break a code without using a computer.
A keynote speech will be given by Laura Dunn and the day will be led by Rowena Harwar who is the Head of Programme Architecture at Nationwide Building Society.
