Ada Lovelace Day at Nationwide Building Society – London
13 October 2015
Over 30 local year 9 female students will come to the Nationwide Office in Threadneedle Street, London where they will spend the day with some inspirational female role models who work at Nationwide. They will find out about the career paths taken by our female role models and understand more about how STEM subjects are relevant in the financial services sector.
They will be able to experience some of the innovative technology we use at Nationwide and will also learn how to use an algorithm to break a secret code without using a computer.
The Nationwide events are being led by Rowena Harwar who is the Head of Programme Architecture at Nationwide Building Society.
