L’Ada Lovelace day è un evento internazionale dedicato alle scienziate e ai loro risultati in ambito scientifico, tecnico, ingegneristico e matematico. L’evento è nato in Inghilterra nel 2009 e ha lo scopo di incoraggiare le ragazze a intraprendere gli studi STEM (Scienze, Tecnologie, Ingegneria, Matematica). Ada Lovelace è stata una matematica inglese considerata oggi la prima programmatrice informatica. Per il primo anno la Casa delle donne dedica appuntamenti per bambini e bambine, ragazzi e ragazze, insegnanti e adulti per lasciarci affascinare dalle materie scientifiche!
VENERDI 12 OTTOBRE ore 17 – Casa delle donne di Ravenna, via Maggiore 120: ALESSANDRA FARABEGOLI parla del libro di SESHMA SAUJANI GIRLS WHO THE CODE, impara il coding e salva il mondo. La accompagnano informatici e informatiche che presentano Coder Dojo: i laboratori/ club di programmazione gratuiti e aperti ai giovani.
Alessandra Farabegoli ha lavorato nell’informatica classica per approdare ad Internet. È oggi tra le più esperte nel marketing digitale in Italia.
