Celebrate Ada Lovelace Day @ ThoughtWorks Chicago

Join us for a bicentennial celebration of Ada Lovelace.

Ada Lovelace was a mathematician who is often referred to as the first computer programmer. She helped shape technology of the 19th century and is regarded as one of the figureheads in the history of computing.

Ada Lovelace Day is an international celebration of the achievements of women in science, technology, engineering and maths (STEM). We plan to celebrate with a few short talks, trivia, and mingling. Everyone is welcome!

Schedule:
5:30-5:45    Mingle  (snacks and drinks provided)
5:45-6:30     Lightning Talks
6:30-6:45     Mingle
6:45-7:30     Women in STEM Trivia
