Women in Science: The Challenge

13 October 2015 @ 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm

FREE

With science and technology playing such a critical role in our lives why do so few girls take up careers in STEM (science technology engineering and maths)? In this public lecture, hosted by Equate Scotland and Edinburgh Napier University, Maggie Aderin Pocock will explore why we need women in these areas and outline the three pronged approach that she is undertaking to encourage everyone to take up these subjects, discussing what we can do to develop a technological future for us all.

Find more information on Dr Maggie Aderin-Pocock on the BBC website.
The lecture will be followed by a networking drinks reception.
RSVP: The lecture is free but please register your attendance by sending an email to lectures@napier.ac.uk.
