Peterborough STEM Festival 2017

FreePeterborough STEM Festival is celebration of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics inspired by Ada Lovelace Day, a free to attend family-friendly event held in the centre of Peterborough on the 1st October 2017.
Our mission is to provide a day of fun activities to celebrate and to experience the wonders of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics – a free event to attend, designed especially for families and young people.
Exciting activities include:
- Interactive treasure hunt with prizes
- Hands-on science with CHaOS (handy engineering, prism googles, IR webcams, and rocks and fossils)
- Minecraft build challenges
- History of computing and women in computing
- Raspberry Pi workshops with PetRasJam
- Become a coding ninja with some professional developers
- Experience virtual and augmented reality sessions
- Design and build your own rockets
- Robotics with the students from GPUTC
- Forensic science and CSI activities with PRC
- Experience some engineering activities with the RAF and the British Army
- Build a cloud with our main sponsors Anglian Water
