Ada Lovelace Day (ALD) is an international celebration of the achievements of women in science, technology, engineering, art and math’s (STEAM). It aims to increase the profile of women in STEAM and, in doing so, create new role models who will encourage more girls into STEAM careers and support women already working in STEAM.
Between 13:30 – 14:00 we will host a webinar highlighting how women have pioneered contemporary digital technology, continuing to co-evolve these rapid progressions within a broad range computing industries.
From 14:00 – 15:00 we are delighted to co-host our first Women in Tech virtual roundtable event, with a range of guests bringing a wealth of contemporary computing industry knowledge and experience to share. Panellists include:

The Roundtable aims to support and develop diversity within the Tech Industry and wider community. Areas to discuss and explore may include personal journeys and potential career pathways, what do employers actually look for, routes within education, how to gain experience, the importance of mentorship as well as role-models. We’ll also be inviting questions, so please feel free to join us, especially if there’s anything specific you’d like to explore or contribute towards.
This will be a virtual Teams event. Though free to join, a ticket is required to gain invitation.
Group/class/school attendance is very much welcome, this event is suitable for those 13+, with a focus on contemporary education and employment.
