Fireside Chats with Manchester Digital
11 October 2016 @ 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm
FreeManchester Digital is challenging all tech and digital businesses across the North West to be more diverse and inclusive and is committed to helping them reach their goals.
On 11th October 2016, Ada Lovelace day will be celebrated internationally, to highlight the achievements of women in science, technology, engineering and maths (STEM) and to encourage more women and girls into STEM careers.
Manchester Digital, alongside Hack Manchester, Ladies that UX, SheSays Manchester, Liverpool Girl Geeks, Ladies of Code, Manchester Girl Geeks, Manchester Java Community and WIT North will be joining the celebration on this day as we hold a fireside chat with some of the leading women in the digital and tech industry in the North West.
Chaired by one of our very own shining lights in the world of tech, Gemma Cameron, the event will explore the proudest achievements of our most notable women and we’ll take the time to learn about their individual journeys.
