[ONLINE] AdaCon 2022
4 October 2022 @ 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm
The past few years have been a difficult and unusual time. Now more than ever is the time for us to come together to back the world’s most extraordinary talent addressing the world’s biggest challenges.
In its fourth year, AdaCon is our annual global conference held every year in October near Ada Lovelace Day. AdaCon exists to celebrate and promote the power of inclusive investment. The event is an opportunity for Ada to bring together our portfolio founders, LPs, co-investors, angel investors, regional scout network and wider community around the world in a meaningful way.
In this year’s mission, we double down on the power of entrepreneurship to build a fairer future. We believe that the most significant tech companies of the future will be built by ambitious founders tackling inequity and promoting fairness at scale for millions of people, thereby also driving significant value for investors. When founders are effectively supported through investment, they are able to create and pass down wealth and knowledge to their communities. We believe in the power of entrepreneurship to drive positive change and will continue to look for talent in the places where others are not looking.
AdaCon is named for Ada Lovelace but its impact is much bigger than just Ada, or Ada Ventures. We see this event as an opportunity to harness the power of our community and showcase what’s possible when you take an inclusive approach to investment. At AdaCon, keynote speakers and founders will share their experiences to inspire the ecosystem to dream bigger about how entrepreneurship can help to address the needs of underserved markets, groups or communities. AdaCon will also be a space for people to build relationships and networks promoting inclusive investment.
Who is AdaCon for?
- Founders facing barriers on their road to first institutional round.
- Founders building for large underserved markets, groups or communities.
- Tech leaders (e.g. VCs, LPs, politicians, policy makers and journalists) who are interested in making venture more inclusive.
