Black History Month takes place throughout October each year in the UK. It marks a month of awareness and celebration of Black history, culture, and community, and seeks to empower and represent BME peoples throughout the UK.
At University of Wolverhampton Students’ Union (UWSU) we are extremely proud to be celebrating Black History Month once again, and to have this opportunity to celebrate the diverse and multicultural student body represented here.
We will jointly be celebrating Black History Month and Ada Lovelace Day with a screening of Hidden Figures, at the Arena Theatre.
