Ada Lovelace Day at WWU – Celebrating Womxn in STEM

9 October 2018 @ 12:00 pm - 2:00 pm

Ada Lovelace is famous for being the world’s first computer programmer. In honor of Ada, as well as the many womxn in science, technology, engineering, arts, and math (STEM), we are hosting an informal drop-in reception and mixer. It’s the 10th Annual Ada Lovelace Day!

Faculty, staff, and students of all identities who would like to celebrate the achievements of women, as well as nonbinary, and trans individuals in the sciences are invited to join us in CB 275 for coffee and tea, cookies, party favors, and a free book raffle*.

Stop in as your schedule permits. Grab a cup of tea, and have a conversation or three.

*Raffle drawings will be held at 1:30 pm, but you do not need to be present to win.
