SCiDEV is organizing an online edit-a-thon, with the aim of creating Wikipedia pages for Albanian women in STEM. The aim of this event is to increase the visibility of Albanian women in STEM and promote role models who can encourage young women and young professionals venture into STEM and advance their careers.
To celebrate #AdaLovelaceDay22, and honor #PinkOctober, we will hold a special STEMspresso episode on October 11, and discuss with Kledia Mati, an oncologist, the contribution of Albanian Women in STEM in fighting breast cancer while bringing down biases in science.
