Prof. Angelo Raffaele Meo will speak about Babbage and his relation with Ada and with the Turin’s Academy of Science.
Dr. Borgi will illustrate Babbage’s paperworks that are in the Archive of Turin’s Academy of Science (that will be shown).
Will be shown a replica (realized by IBM in 1980 for the exposition of A calculator chronicle: 300 years of Counting and Reckoning Tools, hold in New York in 1981) in 3/4 layer of a section of the Difference Engine of 1832.
The artist Silvia Vaula will show some of her works about new technology.
