Ada Lovelace Day at UCL Engineering

13 October 2015 @ 10:00 am - 3:00 pm

Free

For Ada Lovelace Day, the Department of Computer Science at the Faculty of Engineering at University College London is inviting young people aged 14-16 years old and their teachers to participate in a celebration day event on the 13th of October from 10am to 3pm at University College London Bloomsbury Campus, Gower Street, London WC1E 6BT. Join us for a fun-packed event at UCL and find out more about Ada.

The day will kick-off with a panel session featuring inspiring speakers from UCL but also from our industry partners. The speed-networking session will bring experts at different stages of their career or degree from a wide range of engineering sectors in industry, academia and government to share their experiences.

Participants will have an opportunity to try hands-on programming activities with Engduino working together with other young people but also with our STEM Ambassadors who will be acting as mentors. Students will benefit by finding out about the broad range of computing-related opportunities open to them and discovering what inspired some of the people working in it today.
