DESCRIPTION:As part of Ada Lovelace Day\, join us for a celebration of women in STEM at the School of Chemistry\, University of Edinburgh\n\n\n\n\n\n\nAbout this Event\n\n\nAda Lovelace Day is an annual celebration of the achievements of women in science\, technology\, engineering and maths. \nJoin us for an evening which raises awareness and promotes discussion and celebration of women in science. \nWe are hosting a range of inspiring women in STEM speakers\, including: \n\nProf. Karen Faulds – professor at University of Strathclyde\nDr Caroline Knapp – lecturer at UCL\nDr Joy Farnaby – lecturer at University of Glasgow\nDr Amanda Jarvis – UKRI future leaders fellow at University of Edinburgh\nDr Amy Price – postdoctoral researcher at University of Edinburgh\n\nThere will be wine and nibbles to accompany the discussions. \nThe event is sponsored by the Royal Society of Chemistry and ScotCHEM. \nThere are a limited number of places\, so if you book and subsequently cannot attend\, please release your ticket. \nWe look forward to seeing you there!
