DESCRIPTION:Women in STEM Plymouth’s flagship networking events feature inspirational speakers\, have great support from local businesses and allow our members to find out about the fascinating STEM advances which are happening in our area. They are also a platform for outreach with teachers\, lecturers and careers advisors\, providing insight on what STEM careers involve and the many different pathways to entering STEM industries. \nOur Ada Lovelace Day 2017 event focuses on the amazing tech opportunities available in Plymouth\, and is kindly hosted by our friends at ThinqTanq and MESH who will be providing interactive activities and demos around such mysterious things as 3D printing\, laser cutting\, robotics\, and arduinos.
