An event celebrating the contributions of women to the development of computers, gaming and our modern world of accessible technology (from Ada Lovelace through to the 20th Century). These were women who forged careers and used their talents in a mainly male-dominated world and were often unrecognised and unheralded by history.  Their achievements are celebrated in a one-day display at The Micro Museum.

To celebrate the 175th anniversary of the publication of Ada Lovelace's Notes, containing what would have been the first, workable computer program, visitors to The Micro Museum in Ramsgate on 6 and 7 October will be able to view a slideshow about Ada and some of the other women who helped create our modern digital world.
