Rocket Girls
Jacqueline Currie is a former aeronautical engineer and the founder of Curiosity Hub in Sussex, UK. This talk and workshop is based on her unique experiences in the aerospace industry, including discussion of her work on the world-record breaking flight of Zephyr (a solar-powered unmanned aerial vehicle), current and future uses of robotics, and advice on STEM/STEAM education and career paths. Activities include space exploration challenges using Lego Mindstorms robotics kits, exploring computer programming and the engineering cycle, showcasing students' own creativity and problem-solving skills.
