DESCRIPTION:The Tech for Life team invite you to join us in celebrating the North East’s Leading Ladies in STEM at Campus North on Ada Lovelace Day\, Tuesday October 11th from 4pm – 6.30pm. \nWe will have a panel of our very own Leading Ladies from across the generations who will be giving us insights into their career journey\, challenges and experiences looking at what has changed (or not) over the past 30 + years.  It is a chance for all girls and women to be part of a STEM careers showcase with role models from the industry both as our panel guests and our attendees. Details of of panel will be annouced shortly! \n\nDoors open at 4pm with refreshments\nPanel discussion and ‘fireside chat’ 4.30pm\nNetworking from 5.30pm onwards\n\nWe are an all-inclusive bunch so invites are open to all! DESCRIPTION:What?– We’ll be holding a panel event\, complete with Q&A\, networking (games) and nibbles. The panel will feature 8 people from a diverse set of Science\, Technology\,Engineering and Maths (STEM) careers. \nWhere? – We’ll be at Campus North’s offices in Newcastle. Full address is Campus North\, Sunco House\, 5 Carliol Square\, Newcastle Upon Tyne\, NE1 6UF. \nWhen? – We’ll be there at 6.00pm to start and hope to be finished by 8.00pm latest. \nThere are amazing women in the UK’s Science\, Technology\, Engineering and Maths (STEM) fields\, but a lack of females rising to take their place in STEM. This diverse panel will be sharing their unusual STEM career paths and giving some top tips to current STEM students considering their options after school\, college or university.  The event is open to all and promises to provide a fantastic opportunity to meet and network with real STEM professionals and discover new opportunities\, all over light refreshments in a relaxed atmosphere. \nThis event is sponsored and hosted by Tech North and Campus North
