DESCRIPTION:This Saturday\, September 28\, the Women in Tech group at the Institute of Mathematical and Computer Sciences (ICMC) at USP\, in São Carlos\, invites the public to participate in Ada Lovelace Day. There will be lectures\, mini-courses and discussion groups on programming and the presence of women in the exact sciences. Registration can be done on the group’s website. \nThe free event pays tribute to Augusta Ada Byron King\, known as Ada Lovelace\, who wrote the first algorithm to be processed by a machine. Since its official launch in 2009\, the celebration has traditionally taken place on the second Tuesday of October.
