University of Bristol Ada Lovelace Outreach Event

University of Bristol will be hosting a carousel of hands on demonstrations and experiments to over 100 school children coming along to learn more about the world of science and women in STEM.  Students will also be entering a poster competition on the day where the Vice Chancellor will be handing out prizes to those who have produced the best poster depicting their favourite female scientist, engineer, technician or mathematician.  Students will have hands on experience with a virtual reality cow simulator, see robot demonstrations, witness DNA extraction, hear female academics through Soapbox Science, amongst a host of other activities happening on the day.
