Science communicator, Dr Emily Grossman will work with our undergraduates to consider why science communication is so important and to help them share their passion for science (11am-1pm). In an afternoon lecture (2-3pm), open to all of the University of Southampton, she will discuss why there are still so few women in science careers and what can be done to redress the balance, speaking from her own experiences. This will be followed by an informal discussion and get together (3-4pm), open to all member of the Centre for Biological Sciences.
